We are starting process in 2025, so we can complete this 5-year update in early 2026. This page will host information and links throughout the process.

July: Plan Purpose & Structure - HOMEWORK Ch 1 & 4, due 8/15) - CLOSED
Aug.: Recap Ch 1 & 4 (Cultural Identity & Placemaking) - HOMEWORK Ch 2 & 3 due 9/12 - CLOSED
Sept: Recap Ch 2 & 3 (Infrastructure & Connectivity) - HOMEWORK Ch 5 & 6 due 10/10 - CLOSED
Oct.: Recap Ch 5 & 6 (Vibrancy & Celebrating Colfax) - HOMEWORK Part II review due 11/14 LINK
Nov.: Recap Part II-2021 Goals & Action Steps - NO HOMEWORK for January

DECEMBER: NO MEETING

January ’26: Recap Goals/Actions Steps in the plan from 2021 Update and begin roll-up of recommendations for this 5-year update
Feb-Mar ’26: Further Discussions, Final Compilation of Recommendations, and start new design
Apr./May ’26: Schedule presentation to City Council (scheduled & facilitated by city staff)

15-minute interactions during our every 3rd Wednesday WCCA meetings
Homework Sections for Ambassador (everyone is welcome to participate)

Four ways to interact . . .

1. Online through a web interface (like taking a survey)
2. Response Boards on Easels at WCCA meetings (comments on Post-it Notes)
3. Live input during meetings (Strictly focused on the Homework section)
4. 30-minute roundtables after WCCA meetings (as needed)
